Jackson, Tenn. – The 2026 City of Jackson, TN Christmas Parade will be held on Monday, December 7, 2026, in Downtown Jackson and will broadcast live on EPlusTV channels 6 and 206HD and online at eplustv6.com.
The parade will begin at 6:30 p.m. This year’s theme, “Celebrating 250 Years of Christmas,” is in conjunction with America’s Semiquincentennial Anniversary. The lighting of the Christmas tree will be held prior to the start of the parade at 5:15 p.m. in front of Jackson City Hall located at 101 E. Main St.
"The annual Christmas parade and tree lighting are two of Jackson's most beloved traditions, bringing our community together to celebrate the season,” said Mayor Scott Conger. “This year is particularly special as we connect the warmth of the holidays with our nation's historic 250th anniversary. We look forward to seeing families, friends, and neighbors downtown to kick off the holiday season together."
The grand marshals for the 2026 Christmas Parade will be local community members Larry Newsom, President of the James Madison Tennessee Sons of the American Revolution Chapter and Jackie Utley, past Regent for Jackson-Madison Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution.“
I am deeply honored to be selected as Grand Marshal of the Jackson Christmas Parade, especially as we celebrate America's 250th anniversary,” said Newsom. “As a Vietnam veteran and member of the Sons of the American Revolution, this recognition has special meaning to me. For 250 years, Americans have defended the freedoms we enjoy today. May we never forget their courage and sacrifice. I sincerely thank the City of Jackson and the parade organizers for this wonderful honor.”
“It is such an honor to have been chosen as one of the Christmas Parade Grand Marshals in 2026,” said Utley. “I am especially proud because the parade theme is celebrating our great nation’s 250th birthday; and I will have the privilege to honor the American patriots in my family who served during the Revolutionary War and secured liberty for our nation."
