Public Notice is hereby given that the Jackson City Council of the City of Jackson, Tennessee (the “City”), will meet in open and public session in the George A. Smith Meeting Room at City Hall, 101 East Main Street, at
3:00 p.m., on Thursday, January 8, 2026, for the purpose of considering all matters as may be properly presented to it, including the consideration of a resolution authorizing a loan agreement with The Public Building Authority of Sevier County, Tennessee, in a principal amount not to exceed $26,000,000 to finance, in whole or in part, the design, construction, improvement, renovation and equipping of public buildings and facilities, including but not limited to a civic center, recreational facilities, community centers, and an animal care center; police and fire department buildings, facilities, and equipment; streets, roads, parkways, bridges, and pedestrian and other related improvements; and the payment of costs incident to the financing, and for other purposes as outlined in the posted agenda.
